Open Mic Night in Le Viking Restaurant, Notre Dame du Touchet, with the music starting at 8.30pm. Those taking part are asked to arrive by 8pm, to check out facilities. There is a slightly smaller space available to use due to a function the next day in the restaurant, so it is advisable to arrive early to get a good seat. There is already a lot of interest from musicians wanting to take part so, if you do too, then please let Norrie know.

The annual dance group dinner dance is being held at Le Viking , Notre Dame du Touchet. It will be a 5 course meal with dancing afterwards. It is open to anyone who has attended the dance classes through the year, but numbers of those wishing to attend need to be confirmed by Monday 27th November.
Friday 8th December 2017
The group of singers who brought you “A Sentimental Journey” and “Spotlight on Broadway” in Désertines in the last two years, will be performing a Christmas Show featuring many popular Christmas songs, at the switching on of the Christmas lights in the centre of Gorron. There will be many local commercial enterprises present in the centre of the town. The event is in support of the annual telethon charity weekend in France. The music is due to start at 7pm, but confirmation of timings will be given soon.

There will be a Grand Masquerade Ball in the Salle de Fete in L’epinay le compte on New Years Eve, with a grand buffet (with free drink on arrival) and live music from The Rocket Covers, and other local entertainers, all styles of dancing including Ballroom dancing , and finishing the night with a Disco. Tickets are priced at 10€ per person and can be bought from the Bar du Pecheur in L’Epinay le Comte, or by contacting Norrie. Put on your finery and bring in the New Year in style !
